| Linda Maksel |
LINDA MAKSEL was born in New York. In 1992 she moved to Florida because her husband's parents were living here and their health was failing. Linda got her Bachelor's Degree from Middlesex College in New Jersey. Before retiring, she raised her family of two kids and later worked at Pet Mart Supermarket as a Manager. While growing up, Linda's grandparents lived on the water and had a boat. She also bought a little boat for her sister and herself. It was fun. Linda spent a lot of time there and loved the water. She also did a lot of fishing and crabbing. Their house was on Jamaica Bay at the tail end of the Rockaways on a small island called Meadowmere Park. Linda attended our Club's recent Annual Change of Watch Party and was introduced to the Safety Harbor Boat Club by Marion Ruuge-Aronson, our prior SHBC Scribe. |

| Mark Lewalski (Mark "L") |
Mark Lewalski has been sailing on and off for about 25 years. As a young teenager living in Turkey, he participated in a tough Sunfish summer camp. He got back into sailing by crewing on his boss' 48-foot Morgan ketch which eventually led him and his wife to purchase a 1996 Catalina 250 water ballast sloop. Sadly, that boat has sailed on to The Great Ocean in the Sky. He sometimes crews on other people's boats and likes the change of setups and sailing styles. Mark has been a Safety Harbor Boat Club member for most of the 26 years he has lived here.
